Greetings, and welcome to The Korean Maker! What is that exactly? Well, it’s me. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ben Lee, and I’m an artist here in the Midwest, and I work as a freelance designer/illustrator, and also as an artist. The latter, specifically making pop-art & comics.

And while I have sites for those endeavours. I have interests that don’t really fit into those categories. Specifically, making things. And enter The Korean Maker.

Here on this site, I’ll post pet projects of all kinds. Whether it’s something specific, or just randomness to keep the hands and brain busy. Either way, hope you’ll enjoy this site, especially as content starts to fill it out, and I hope you’ll come back often.

Silkscreen 101

I recently committed to silk-screening some tanks for a friend. I warned him it’s been a hot minute since I’d done so, so safe to say it’s been an experience re-learning to learn. And loved every minute of it. Not saying there weren’t frustrations, but definitely enjoyed getting back into it.
